Tour Rules
During temple, monastery, Dzong visits, guest has to be properly dressed as shorts and half sleeve dresses are not allowed inside. Photography is mostly prohibited inside. Smoking in public is not allowed and attracts fine.
Day 1Arrive at Paro Airport
After an unforgettable flight giving you an adrenaline rush as you see views of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga and other famous Himalayan peaks, including the sacred Jomolhari and Mount Jichu Drake, you will land at Paro International Airport. The landing at Paro is considered as one of the most challenging and enthralling experience.
Our company representatives will receive you at the airport and escort you to hotel.
Lunch at local restaurant, explore the small town of Paro, than visit Paro Dzong ( Rinpung Dzong ). A fortress-monastery overlooking the Paro Valley. Admire its stunning architecture, intricate woodwork, and beautiful paintings.
Then visit National Museum of Bhutan (Ta Dzong) situated above Paro Dzong on a hilltop. Houses a rich collection of Bhutanese art, artifacts, weapons, textiles, and thangkas (religious paintings). Offers panoramic views of Paro valley from its strategic location.

Day 2Paro - Thimphu (65km)
Ride to Thimphu, this will take approximately 1 hours depending on the level of professionalism and biking skills. The ride is
all along the lined willow trees and the beautiful villages of Paro. All along you ride parallel to the river banks. On arrival at Thimphu you be at leisure or just explore the Thimphu city.
After lunch, drive to Buddha Dordenma Statue (buddha point), a short drive from the city center. The construction started on 2006 and completed in 2015. It was initiated by His Majesty the 4th King Jigme Singye Wangchuck, who wanted to build a giant statue of Buddha to promote peace and happiness.
Enjoy panoramic views of Thimphu valley and explore the temple complex. Then drive to Takin Preserve (Takin - National Animal of Bhutan). The preserve plays a vital role in conservation, aiming to protect this unique species and educate visitors about Bhutan’s rich biodiversity. Towards evening, drive to Tashichhoe Dzong. The impressive fortress- monastery is the seat of the Bhutanese government and also houses the throne room and offices of the King. It also are the site of many religious and state functions, including the annual Thimphu Tshechu festival.

Day3Thimphu – Punakha (72km)
Start your day with a bit of sightseeing to explore some local attractions before heading towards Dochula Pass. The drive to the pass
will take approximately 30-45minutes uphill, but the effort is well worth it. Once you reach Dochula Pass, located at an altitude of 3,100 meters, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Eastern Himalayan range-weather permitting. The breathtaking scenery makes the uphill journey worthwhile.
After enjoying the pass, the descent begins, leading you to the warm and lush valley of the Punakha region. Here, you can visit Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of the Divine Madman. This renowned monastery is famous for its association with Drukpa Kunley, also known as the Divine Madman, and is a symbol of fertility.
Lunch at local restaurant and drive to Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang Nunnery which is perched on a ridge amid pine trees and overlooking valleys of Punakha and Wangduephodrang, gleams the magnificent structures of Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang(Temple). Interact with the nuns and they love to speak English with visitors and learn about the ways of the world. Next drive to Punakha to visit Punakha Dzong (Fortress) built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal has played a prominent role in the civil and religious life of the Kingdom. It is ancient capital of Bhutan and one of the most majestic Dzong in the country. Admire its stunning architecture, intricate woodwork, and beautiful location at the confluence of the Pho Chhu (father) and Mo Chhu (mother) rivers.

Day 4Gangtey - Paro (164km)
Ride to Phobjikha valley, the abode of the Black- Necked Cranes. Enroute Wangdue Dzong and along your ride, you will get to see villages
of Sha.
The backup vehicle will always be there following the cyclists and at any point of time riders get exhausted you can continue on the backup car.

Day 5Gangtey - Paro (164km)
Visit the Gangtey monastery and biking toward Paro via Wangdue and Thimphu.
You can bike certain stretch of the road and use
the backup car to reach Paro. End of your biking tour.
You can have a hot-stone bath at the end to relax your tired muscles!

Day 6Taktshang Hike
fter breakfast, hike to Taktshang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest Monastery, is a legendary and iconic site in Bhutan, renowned
for its spiritual significance and breathtaking location. One of Bhutan’s holiest shrines and an amazing structure that crosses all boundaries of architectural masterpiece.
Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) is perched some 3,120 meters (10,240 feet) above sea level on a cliff overlooking a valley. It is said that the legendary Indian saint Guru Padma Sambhava, flew from Tibet on the back of a tigress to tame five demons, who were opposing the spread of Buddhism in Bhutan in 746 AD. Taktshang Monastery is the ultimate pilgrim site for all Buddhist especially in Bhutan.
The hike to the monastery takes about 5hours (up and down), and follows an ancient path marked by river powered prayer wheels.
Lunch at cafeteria and towards evening, stroll around local market as it is vibrant and bustling, where you can find traditional handicrafts, textiles, and local foods. It’s a great place to immerse yourself in the local culture.
